Threading a quilting needle

I tried this new deal once before, and didn't get on, so I will try again. I am working on a wallhanging with a Mariner's Compass, and just started quilting it today. Usually I use just plain thread from Coats & Clark, but since I am OTD, have had a hard time threading the # 10 needles. Today, I had no C&C thread in the color I wanted to use, so used some Mettler thread instead. What a difference! Threaded the needles on the first try! It is skinny thread compared to Coats. Just thought that maybe some of you other OTD ladies might want to try this. Alice in W. WA

Seeing if I can get on.

My daughter-in-law came today to play Scrabble, so I asked her help getting unto this program. I did okay on the old one, so maybe I can do this too.
There was a question sometime ago that had to do with the book "Jane Eyre," but now I don't remember the question. I have the book, if it hasn't fallen apart from old age.
I am working on a wallhanging with a Mariner's Compass--blue, green, purple colors. I keep needing more inspiring ideas for it, and go to my shelf of 300 + quilting magazines.
Hope this works so I can join all of you.
